NYC Toy Fair 2006

Post by Threetoughtrucks » Fri Jan 06, 2006 11:26 am

Who's going?? The 2006 NYC Toy Fair will be on Febuary 12-15th at the Javits Convention in NYC.

I'll post the 21C location as soon as I get it.

Last year my spies were treated very nicely by the 21C reps, even though they weren't "buyers" and only lowly "press". Compare that with Dragon, who turned and walked away in mid-sentance from my spies when "buyers" walked into the booth. The fair is not open to the general public, only manufactuer's reps, buyers and press.

This year I'll be there at least part of the time, as press. I'll be representing "The Metropolis Daily Planet" under the name Kent, C.

You are not allowed to bring a camera but my son has a little Sony smaller than a pack of death sticks. What can they do? tell me to stop? throw me out??? they can shoot you but they can't eat you :D

Hi,
I wasnt aware you couldnt take pictures at the Show. I've been attending for several years running and no one ever stopped me from taking pix. Watch, this year some bouncer will come up to me and escort me out the revolving doors! :P
