Heads Up - clearances starting

Post by flayrah » Fri Dec 23, 2005 3:55 pm

Visited two Targets today, and a TrU. The TrU was just about sold out, nothing 1:18 except a handful of GI Joes and a few of the knock-off truck sets. Was hoping to find the green Zero.....at one Target, I found Star Wars, bbi Elite Force (the low-end "Target" series), and the 1:32 (Forces of Valor - don't quote me, I don't collect that scale) on clearance. The other Target had some of the same pieces, but regular price. So it looks like some of the after Christmas pricing is already taking place.

I found a 21c 1/9 scale RC M1 Abrams marked down (or rather mismarked) from $200 to $100 :o

No I didn't. The reported history of Q/C problems was the main reason, as I didn't want to put down $100 and have a broken axel. Further, I simply don't have the bedroom space for a huge tank and my parents wouldn't quite like one sitting in the living room or the garage either

Perhaps its time I bite the bullet and get my own place...

Yeah, but rent REALLY cuts into your 1/18 budget...
