FW 190 A/F is it gonna happen soon or not.?
The Shrike is my all time favorite bird of WWII, I would buy several to customize, already have the JG.2 Eagle drawn up and ready to go, is this still speculation or is it gonna happen.? Harrier I would buy as well but I'm dis-enchanted with no confirmation of a release date for either. Any current info fellas.?... Jackson/Vexillarius Decals

I'm a WWII collector, Harrier is a great plane and a good choice for merit........I just like the older stuff.

what is the 190 carrying? It sort of looks like a Werfgranate launcher but different.

Maybe this...? Flamethrower "Gero II" A, B or C
The flamethrower Gero II was a very rare weapon used for ground attacks. So it was me and not to gather a lot of information about it. It gave him the 3 versions A, B and C. It was attached to the ETC under the central hull and the flame output was down and back. This weapon has been used, among others, the FW 190 F-9. It was developed originally for use on bombers for attacking hunters to take by the ejection of a carbon black oil cloud the view, as the discs then were suddenly blind. The device has been used on a trial basis in the Russian campaign for that use by KG 51.

It may just be the angle but the propeller hub looks wrong. Looks to long...
Re: FW 190 A/F is it gonna happen soon or not.?
Maybe it's just the camera focal length producing exaggerated perspective. There's a side shot that shows the propeller hub here.

Yay! Finally proof the only new 1:18 WWII aircraft since the Dauntless could possibly be made soon.
This is encouraging.

Went to the iHobby show on Saturday and was disappointed to find an empty booth in the Merit location! It looks like they baled on Friday? Seems like it would have been some good advertising/PR to stay for the weekend. Oh well, hopefully the Fuhrer will not be too upset and send me to the Russian Front

Re: FW 190 A/F is it gonna happen soon or not.?
From someone who is regularly around a complete rebuild of a Flug Werks FW-190F, I can say that the overall shape looks dead-on from what I can see. Wouldn't want to land on those toothpick sized main gear struts though. At least that's how they appear in the picture. They are somewhat beefier on the real thing. (see picture) At least they aren't molded into the covers like the miserable gear on the 21st FW-190D. And the retract brace is included. Yes!
Also, the spinner is O.K. We won't be using that composite prop, more associated with late model 190s and the D. Ours will have the more conventional blades of the early A-4 and A-5. Possibly a cut down version of a Corsair prop to go along with the R-2800 power plant.

What makes the P-51 Mustang so special?

I dont undertand Merit, why they would chose an F model is beyond me. All the best schemes are for the A6 and the A8. I wonder what the decal options are going to be on the kit????
