1:18 Armor Decals?
1:18 Armor Decals?
Are there any 1:18 armor decals out there anywhere? I'm looking for Tiger I decals particularly. Would 1:16 decals look acceptable on a 1:18 tank?

yes and yes, peddinghaus will resize 1/16 for you if you are very particular and if not 1/16 looks fine.
Re: 1:18 Armor Decals?
So would I email them asking to resize it? Is there any extra charge to do that?

It's worth specifying to Ernst the exact measurements you mean when you say 1:18, if you can. For example, with a balkenkruse, what height and width you want the cross. That or with license plate, the exact size of the plate you are going to put the decal on.

Monkey Depot still has some John's Stuff German decal sets available, including one for the Tiger: http://www.monkeydepot.com/1_18_Scale_Military_s/86.htm
I've used John's Stuff decals for years on a variety of projects and they are good. Our fellow board member Jackson has better-quality decal products, but this may be exactly what you are looking for without having to go international.
