Re: A 1/18th Scale A-10 Tentative Start Date Mid-March ! !
Can't believe we are still going over this.
And at NO point in my listing did I list it as "rare", so stop misquoting me.
I listed it as a Badcat exclusive, 500 units, long out of production, and very hard to find. Here is the listing.
" BBI F-18 in massive 1:18 scale.
This is the VMFA- 232 "Red Devils" release. A Badcat Toys exclusive, and only 500 units were ever made.
Long out of production, and very hard to find.
The box on this model is in great shape, and the model itself is absolutely MINT. It has never been removed from the box."
There is no mention of "rare", and my listing is true, and not misleading. Up to the buyer to figure out if 500 is "rare' or not. I simply state facts in my listing.
So, how about stop misquoting me on this, and putting words into my mouth.
Can't believe this listing has created the animosity it has, complete with name calling and misrepresentation of what the listing said.
If you are going to call somebody out, then you should probably have your facts straight. Something that hasn't been done by a couple of people involved in this seemingly "ongoing saga".
Sorry about the hijacking of the thread yet again Matthew. Some people need to get their facts straight, get over this, and move on.

Not about you at all and I apologize if you think it was. I assure you it was not.

Let us get back to the subject at hand.
If anybody is interested, details are starting to be worked as far as the 3-d printing goes.
The printer brought up a good question what do we start with first ?
I am suggesting the cockpit .
What part would you guys like to see first ?
You guys who are actually going to get the A-10 please speak up.
Grunt that post was hilarious .

so we're thinking 500$ for the kit, how much would just a base coat of paint run?
I think I may be jumping in on this.

It's currently being scaled for 1/18 so that sample parts can be produced and reviewed before production.
Hopefully we'll see something after a few weeks......... .

The 1/18 A-10 project is still moving forward. The measurements/scaling has pretty much been done. The next step is producing a section to see how it turns out and then getting a breakdown sequence for all the parts. Staye tuned......

Measurements have been resolved. The first parts break down has been gone through and certain parts have been chosen for a test print and review. There should be something to share with those interested soon. Stay tuned.......
