No doubt the 21c ME-262 is a beautiful model! They did a fantastic job with the paint work on it and its one of 21c's finest efforts with a 1:18 aircraft. I only wish they had hidden those seams behind the cockpit better...

I agree but I haven't seen this model before. Are those chrome pieces new engines we haven't seen before? or are they really big cannons under the wing? :P

They look like infrared spotlights to aid in the closing days of the ground war.

Or maybe RATO pods for when Hitler insisted on making the 262 a bomber.

Sorry WOP but it looks like you have them backwards if they are indeed RATO rocket pods

My question is, what's the huge wooden structure under the 262? There is also some burnt wood, but it appears in front of the intake, not at the back (where you would expect burning). Maybe it was another act of sabotage at the assembly plant. "Hey, lets just bolt the entire airplane backwards". Could be possible?
