Trail Troopers -high flying 4" with real parachutes

Post by Razor17019 » Wed Nov 23, 2005 7:03 am

They have some WWII paratroopers in this line-
Question: They are 4" tall, would their weapons work for the XD or BBI paratroopers?? or are they too big??
Anyone have these figures or know anything about them???

They are the right size - 1:18 - but they are not worth $5 each imo. They are not articulated and the detail is OK, but not what it should be for a statue. If you want to give them a look go to GoodStuff - they've been trying to move them for a while, I think they are down to 4 bucks each. They're ok for variety - for example it's the only Brit we got. :?

they are good if u want to use them in some kind of jump diorama, ie in your custom 1/18 C-47, otherwise pretty useless. The weapons and heads are good for customizing. I got a bunch of the british and used them to customize british paras (without the chute harness on).

The HALO is a must have, though. Very cool.
i never met an airplane i didn't like...

What is the URL for GoodStuff? I remember there was a post a while ago about online stores with 21C/BBi stuff. Can we get a new one that just lists the websites as a sticky in the Ref Room?

They are getting out of 1:18 which is terrible news :(
But, the upside is the prices which are better than ever, including a $29 P-47, $18 Super Humvee, $28 bbi Sherman and $4 DT paras. It hurts to lose them as a source though....

Thanks. I kept putting in .com rather than .net.

Thanks for the link to their website.

Question to those that have these figures - WWII German paratrooper - he has a MP-40 or 38 - how good does this weapon look compared to XD or BBI?? Toyish?
I can't really tell from the pics on the website.

Is the British paratrooper carrying a sten gun?

Anyone have these figures that may want to trade or sell them or parts of them?? I would like to get some MP-40s for some of my tank crews...

Let me know.
