I was thinking about the same....$200 - $250.
What do you think the cost would be in RTV rubber?

RTV rubber

To make a mould that size the RTV would be through the roof.

It would be a crazy slow process but if I were to make a mould for that piece . I would probably use the paint on type RTV then cover it with plaster or fiberglass .

If I were going to do solid RTV I would say about 3 units = 6 gallons which is over $500 !!

The resin alone for each unit would probably be $50 !!

The brush on RTV would be the way to go with a mother mold (plaster or fiberglass jacket).
As for the casting materiel, I was thinking expanding foam.
If each section were cast in resign they'd weigh more than the Horten. Alot more! Expanding Foam!

If the prototype were to sell at the right price, it might be possible for collectors to own a copy
of that 1:18 bridge.

I contact the seller to find out what the bridge was made of and this is his reply:

"made from solid urethane, it's light but durable"

Maybe urethane is the way to go.

The value of the foam would only be $80 I would assume! You know, like my stuff, just some cut up foam and paint.

Down to $575.00 now. Might be a taker out there soon. Still a bit too high for me.

Well the price is becoming a little more realistic.

This seller id Marshall1146 is one of 21st Century's selling account yes?

Did you guys see and read the 1/12 scale Churchill tank listed from them?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/FOUND-1-12-SCAL ... 35bd32e8d7

The description says 21st were trying out a new scale in 1/12, says several protos of vehicles and figures were made including this churchill. But last sentence says photo shows a 1/12 jagdpanther :?:

that's pretty interesting. I wonder when they were thinking of doing 1/12. Before or after 1/18..i guess before but optend for a smaler scale, perhaps so they could include aircraft as well. And a churchill tank?.....surprising choice given their later reluctance to release anything that was armour and wasn't german or US.
i never met an airplane i didn't like...

1/12 is a fairly popular scale... I think they could've done somethign good going that direction and essentially cornering a market, but alas nothing. I woudl've been disappointed seeing them abandon 1:18 though, and I think that might've been their ultimate plan.

I've been looking at this pic and come to the conclusion that this bridge is fricken huge!

The Sherman is 12 x 6 x 6 (approx.) it looks as if you could fit 3 the length of the bridge and
2 side by side with some extra space............so 3+ ft. by 15 - 18in. by 8in. high. :?
The good thing is it comes in 2 half's. :P

As for 1:12 I never would have gone for it :!:

He also had for sale a 1/12 Jagdpanther. The Jagdpanther sold for $500.00.
What is rare is that it looks like the same Jagdpanther that All Go never made. This may mean that there was not even a 1/18 scale prototype.
The item number is: 230800903263

That explains why listing said it was a Jagdpanther instead of a Churchill

Well they mentioned several german/us vehicles and figures were made, be interesting to see what else they made.

For me, I probably would not have been so into 1/12 scale as much as I was into 1/18 because it tied in with SW and Joe
