This Would Be Awsome in 1/18th Scale !!
The Minenraumer was made during the war . It did work but was slow and a big artillery magnet.
Used and abandoned later captured by the Russians . Field tested after the war.
Now resided in the famous Kablinka ( spelling ) Museum.
This thing would be huge. i think that is a Panzer II turret on top !!
Pics stolen from missing Lynx.

Not a lot of interest, but I tell you if I ever get some personal time I will build one for myself
The measurements in 1/18 scale would be:
L = 14.22 inches
W = 6.93 inches
Sdkfz 251 comparison
L = 12.66 inches
W = 4.55 inches

Yep.

I did not know about the existence of this until now.It looks like another Nazi wonder weapon.Germans always made the cool stuff,even their Minenraumer looks very stylish.It has no tracks so casting time may not be a problem,if you decided to make it.
It really looks like from science fiction movie.I think you should consider this as a future project.i would like to have this one of a kind(tank?)
Also I am still interested in the Sherman that had the towing capability that was shown on this forum a few month ago.

Another random, but cool, piece of German armor. There's plenty of other German vehicles I'd like to see before one of those, but still neat nonetheless. Would look very impressive with a bigger turret and gun on top.
It has sort of that sci-fi look to it - like something I could see the Empire using in Star Wars

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe a Panzer IV turret, I've got a few sitting around.tmanthegreat wrote: Would look very impressive with a bigger turret and gun on top.

Nothing wrong with a 3 year old project idea.
The Jagdpanther will be my next armor project but I would really like to make this .
Three years ago there was not a lot of interest but I will make this one day.
Maybe only a one of .

There's a movie, Panzer 88, in "ongoing" development that has one of those in the storyboards.

Typical Nazi influence on what would otherwise be a reasonable idea; don't just build a minesweeper, build a huge menacing minesweeper with a gun turret on top. During peacetime, this sort of thinking expressed itself as $100 hammers and $500 toilets on purchase orders.

It needs an ominous nickname... like the Devil's Tractor or Thor's Boot. They really did come up with some crazy ideas, but crazy ideas sometimes genius weapons make.
