I bought & received an item on e-bay from him in mid-March, if that's worth mentioning...

I saw him from a distance at the Cable airshow in Jan, but that's the last I saw him. I'll see if he's at the Riverside airshow this coming weekend and let him know to check in here or email you.

well i still haven't heard from him. You'd think he'd make more of an effort to contact a customer who has a problem with an order. Seems more like he's ducking me.

May be time to open a Paypal dispute.

Have you tried calling him Aferg? Is it completely against protocol for one of the members to pass along his phone number so that you might try another means of reaching him? Just a thought.

(949) 322-9553...this is his business number I got off his websites "contact us" page if you want to call him. Had several dealings with him...good guy. Not sure if that is up to date though.

yes i've had a few dealings with him in the past too....that's why i'm a bit stunned at what seems to be happening here.

On March 3 i ordered and paid for a BBI 1/18 Hartmann. Five days later i got a Paypal shipping notice, with tracking number.

Two weeks went by and it hadn't arrived so i figured i'd check the tracking to see whereabouts it was. And that's when i discovered the tracking number was invalid, ie not a real tracking number.

So i emailed him, asking for the proper tracking info. A couple of days go by and nothing. So i emailed again. Several days go by and nothing. No response.

So, i started this thread on here, asking if anyone knew where he was. Black Dragon called him yesterday on my behalf and Aviatornut told him he would contact me soon. Now, to me soon means within a few hours. It's been almost a day and still nothing.

It's now 3 weeks since shipping and it still hasn't arrived. It does happen that it takes this long but it's unsusal. What's really got me thinking is the invalid tracking number plus the fact he seems to be avoiding contacting me.

I hope my suspicions are wrong, i really do.

But unless i get a valid tracking number by monday i will be opening a Paypal claim.

Did something happen to him, God forbid? Has anyone heard or seen him since this started?

Black Dragon One spoke to him yesterday afternoon. He told him he'd contact me soon. It's like 3 posts above, Flyboy.

FALSE ALARM.

My package arrived today. No indication of why it was delayed. But i'm very happy to say that i was totally wrong in my suspicions of Aviatornut.

Why he didn't answer my emails or contact me when he said he would i don't know, but whatever....all is well. Boy am i glad i was wrong.

Johnathan, i apologize that i ever doubted you.

Spanky Spanky.

I have been dealing with Johnathan for years. He has always been GREAT to deal with.

I am sorry you had the scare with him.

BTW I am still waiting for my package of planes from Skyworks.

It has been a few years now.

But I have not given up hope.
