F-15 coming out soon?

Think it will probably be the 1/32 F-4 Phantom, P-51.

That model screams for repaints, and will sell well.

USAF, USN, Royal Navy, Luftwaffe, and other countries could all be done.

HM milked this in 1/72, and continue to do so. BBI would be foolish to ignore this mold.

the question was specific to 1/18. I doubt he was referring to the F-18 repaint. So maybe. Or maybe the A-10 that BBI has been sitting on for years.

If it is specific to 1/18, I still say F-18 "Aggressor" scheme.

Although not positive that the USAF actually uses F-18's in this role. I know they use F-16's and F-5's, but not sure about the F-18. And BBI had the "Aggressor" scheme next in line for the F-18, just like they had "Enduring Freedom" as their next F-16.

Would be great to see an F-4, or an F-15, I really doubt it. Although the 1/18 Dauntless was a surprise.

BBI has the F-18 mold, and a repaint of this is the most likely outcome.

But I would be more than happy to get a new 1/18 jet from BBI.

I'd be stunned if it was the F-15, because JSI had already staked this territory out. Too much of a risk that they might actually end up competing against someone else's model, even if that's only a small risk.

... on the other hand, I can IMAGINE a situation in which BBI BOUGHT the JSI F-15 master and work that JSI had already done on that project; or made some kind of licensing or joint venture deal to spread and share the risk, rather than double up on it. Now THAT would be smart -- but maybe smarter than we should expect from an industry that's made so many mistakes.

C'mon guys, can't you read between the lines? Isn't it obvious to all? BBI Collectible rep said it was a twin engined USAF combat jet. Duh it's a F-101 Voodoo.
