Saw a open long coat Ardennes infantry figure at Walmart yesterday, hadn't been keeping up with this thread so it was a total shock. It was only one figure, strangely, so I assumed it was something they found in the stock room behind the crates or something.

But then just now I was talking to my friend who lives in CA(riverside) and he found one as well. So, glad to see it's not a bizarre coincidence.

Found 4xMkIV remotes and 4xM113 remotes as well as a few Sahara figures and S-2 marines in the Camden store in addition to the usual 1:32 crap...er.... stuff. Not bad on distro in my book. The Fw-190s are putting the kabutz on any new planes here, unfortunately. We'll see what further Christmas stockings give us.....

I've mentioned this elsewhere, so please excuse any redundency, but more BoB figures were to be found in my area. I was pleased to find three of the green tankers, which, combined with the two I already had, now allow for my grey Tiger I tank to be properly crewed with a matching, accurate-looking tank crew - thats not in winter fatigues! Also picked up a couple more of the open coat Germans. They're quite nice! No Sahara figures, though.

tman, those green German tankers are great, aren't they!? I've also managed to collect a full crew for my S1 Tiger.

WM in Auburn NY now has 2 each of the the rc MkIVs and M113s.
Couldn't get a close look at them though - they were on the top shelf
(how many times have I had to push things off the tops shelves so I could get to them?!!!) and the place was just mobbed with shoppers going in and out of the aisle so I bought the Sahara figures and got the heck out of there....

Went to my 2 local Super Walmart's and the stores had almost completely different selections of 21st Century stuff. One store had like 8 Tiger I's, 6 Shermans, 5 Spitfires, and 1 ME-109E-S7. All except the 109 were in Motorworks boxes. Figure wise it had BOB re-releases and the camo Marines. The other store had a few Panther's, a few Shermans, a few ME-109E-S7's, 1 Hanomag, and a few Mustangs. Figure wise they had the green Marines, BOB re-releases, a ME-109 pilot, and a Stuka pilot. Weird huh? I thought the series of 6 pilot figures hasn't been in stores for at least a couple years. Wish I would of had the extra money to pick a few of these items up.

The Pilots were re-released along with the BotB and Patton figs earlier in the year. BTW did you say Mustangs?

I found the Bubbletop P-47s yesterday, first time I've seen new aircraft at this store in almost 2 years. They had 2 each of the Eagleston and Eileen schemes. Finally something to keep that D-Day Spitfire and Red 3 Focke-Wulf company :P

Anyway I picked up the Eagleston as I'd gotten the Eileen during BCA's Katrina sale.

Super WM - Jacksonville, AR
(Just outside the main gate of LRAFB)

Found both RC vehicles

Found a LARGE quantity of vehicles (Hanomag, M113 and M41 Walker Buldog with the Vietnamese figure) These were NOT on the shelf just a few days ago.

Still no Sahara figures.

Found the new green/gray Ardennes German soldiers as well as Japanese troops at the Super Walmart near the Airport in Huntsville, AL (for those in the area). Still no sign of the RC Panzer or M113. If anyone in this area spots them, please let me know.
Thanks! :D

Yep, this is the standard price for that line of vehicles. So, you can get the HT's, the M-41, the Command Car, the COED Sherman and the 1.5t Truck for that price. NOT BAD AT ALL!!!!!

For those living within reach of Chesapeake, Va. Walmart on Battlefield Blvd. they had 10 R/C Panzer IV's and 10 R/C M113A2 APC's stacked on upper shelves! Also had lotsa Marines S1 and I saw a few S2 Marines, two Sahara figures, and a number of winter Halftracks and Walker Bulldogs - all full price! They also had 3 Messerschmitt ME-109e-4 planes, which they have had for a long time! Happy Hunting!

I'm finding lots of the RC tanks around here and that's pretty cool... The Halftracks are hot, especially the Hanomag, and they dont' seem to last long. The M-41's sorta sitting but I expected as much with that tank.

The figures though, still aren't hitting in big numbers. The BotB hit one WM in the area but that's it. No Japanese unfortunately, and definitely no Sahara. Gotta find those and more BotB figures asap.

That's wierd! My WM had just 2 Sahara figures as well. Were these packed 2 to a case of S-2 Marines or something? That's too much of a coincidence!

I think that is exactly how they come - 2 to a case as I think this was reported earlier. It makes sense that 21st would not want full cases of just two [movie] figures shipping, but they turned out so cool now I'm afraid they'll become "chase" figures and I won't get any :? :(
Has anybody put them to work with an M4 or in a WWII dio? I'd love to see some pics of these guys in action. :)

Whadaya know, the S. Pkwy WM in Huntsville, AL, finally had some FW190s that weren't candy canes, and the 32x Wirbelwind. What would that be, just a year later than everyone else in the country? Could I dream of some Bubbletop P47s or ME109s by Christmas??????
