2011 sales thread
Well, lets post any good deals we find on hobby stuff, 1/18, ect! I know a lot of E-tailers do sales on black Friday and all that jazz.
If I see anything I will keep us posted.

I got a V1 at Joe Nall for like $25. He's a member here. I think his name is Opfor. Something like that.

I think my Hobbytown still has a couple halftracks and a Pak-40 for $28 or thereabouts. They have an M-48 and 88mm gun in there as well. The items haven't moved for months, and moved when the store moved.

And you're letting those poor 1:18 goodies go homeless for the Holiday Season? Have heart man, and take them home with you!tmanthegreat wrote:I think my Hobbytown still has a couple halftracks and a Pak-40 for $28 or thereabouts. They have an M-48 and 88mm gun in there as well. Re: 2011 sales thread
I was at a gun show this morning and a guy was selling a few 21st 1:18 items. I was able to get a series 1 gray Tiger I new in the box but I could only talk him down to $75. I'm good with that.
Anyone know how much the series 2 ambush Panther goes for?
Well I went back and got the Panther for $60. It's in the box (opened and no commander) I just couldn't pass it up.

Normandy, I believe you got a great deal on the Ambush Panther. I've wanted one for some time, but haven't been willing to pay the $120+ they always seem to be on ebay.

Re: 2011 sales thread
Is it common to find 1:18 at gun shows?

Re: 2011 sales thread
Tinman, This guy sells some of the repro daggers and non guns and a few toys. In the past he's had some 32x and models he has built. To answer your question...... no its not common to find 1:18 at these shows, he was the only one.
I had picked up the Tiger and was happy with that but the S 2 Panther was the only one I've ever seen other than online,
so this afternoon I went back. It was still there and he was asking $60. I gave him the money and said thanks.

Re: 2011 sales thread
Thanks, just wondered 'cause gun shows take place here at least a couple of times a year but I haven't attended one in forever.
