I'll take a 1/18th WWI aircraft...say an Albatross or Spad over any Whirlybird or VTOL any day...hell I'd take WBTS Lowes Observation balloon over VTOLs as well...

I would like to see someone pickup Admiral Toys prototypes for the Dauntless and Skyraider. If I remember they were pretty far along in development

When I saw the Skyraider model at Toy fair a few years ago it was far and away the most impressive AC I had laid eyes on. Even moreso than the F4. Real shame it never happened.

Digger and I were at the same Toy Fair. The Skyraider would make a super huge 1/18 plane..

this r/c one is 1/20. You can get a good idea of the size in the video at the bottom of the page.

a 1/18 would be 10% larger, quite noticable. Would be bigger than the Avenger. Very cool plane. Too bad, very too bad.
