I have little pegs in the back of the caps that fit into the aligning holes of the wings.
A couple of guys have asked if I would sell the kit without the wings. By making these end caps the wingless version will be available

This way you can display the 229 without the wings and put it on a shelf.
Also by going wingless, this is the condition that the Americans found this wonder weapon and it can be displayed just as they found it . That will take the fantasy element out of the ole' gal .
Just think of the dio possibilities
