I'm not sure if the 10% off Promotion Code is valid for the F-104, but it's "SAVEINJULY".

Seems expensive for what is basically a repaint of the 21C F-104.

I like the paint job as Marine Flieger is currently on display in my living room.

MCALAMARI:
So far, the only US dealer I've seen offering the Boelcke F-104 is Diecastairplane.com. It's odd that Badcat and Flyingmule don't mention it.

I've observed your excellent forum for many years. My first post is hopefully helpful to all.
My sources tell me the others are staying away because they know this item is unlicensed. Lockheed is apparently on the case.

$140???? Seriously??? Ah well, at least I got a Smoke II while the going was good.
Observer,
Unlicensed from Lockheed or the whole "JSI stole the 21C molds" unlicensed?

I've not bought either yet, but I really, really would love to pick up a different Luftwaffe 104.

I couldn't get rid of these German-livery F-104's a few years ago, so the idea that someone will be buying these up at $140 seems ludicrous! It appears to me that Historic Aviation is behind this one, I have a feeling they will regret it.

Re: pre-order JSI F-104 "Boelcke"--$139.95
Hey all... My first post here. I've been lurking this forum a few months and finally registered. Anyway, I was actually considering getting this F-104 until I read the posting on the allgotoys website. I don't know the intentions of this company. Though they might be good, it seems from what I've seen so far they didn't go through proper channels to get molds, or use existing products, get licensing, etc. I'd rather keep looking for another old one to repaint myself.

Re: pre-order JSI F-104 "Boelcke"--$139.95
I got my Boelcke from AG and am very pleased. Here are some shots of it along side my other German jets.
Marine Flieger (21c) left, Boelcke right:
Scarlett is my test pilot for virtually everything:
Admiral's CL-13 (one of my favorite 1:18 of all time) joins the flight line:
Overall it was very easy to assemble and a very stable and sturdy model/toy. The landing gear is solid, and easy to use. The packaging seems a bit spartan, but I actually appreciate not having a plastic window ... otherwise this is essentially 21c like packaging. No instructions, but if anybody doesn't have a 21c F-104, I'd be happy to scan my instructions into a pdf for you ... it is the same model.
The paint wasn't as crisp in a few areas, but when it came to cutting lines (like across the nose) and the camo pattern (the parts that matter most to me) it was awesome.
For those of you that are working on building a West German / BD (post WWII) Luftwaffe, this is a nice addition. Scarlett said the plane handled well, but did request that a German Mechanic look into the port fuel tank's stablizers. (Too bad there is no German Mechanic with the Miervatian Luftwaffe ... she'll have to wait for Chewie & R2 to check it out instead.)
