Hobby King has them but there is $45 shipping as it comes from Hong Kong. For me that is a good price but for you in the US you may be able to find better.

I think the KV's problem is how ugly most people find it and it is a bit obscure. I like the looks of mine, but put several $100's into it and it runs like it's real life counterpart. Slow and underpowered. I never drove it without the Asiatam hull because they were shipped together and the KV's plastic idler was sheered off in the box, something that I've heard more than once. That green plastic is way too soft.

Awesome Hobbies shows that the Matarro KIng Tiger and the Heng Long KT with the Porche turret are both in stock and ready for shipment. Is the Heng Long KT supposed to be an Awesome Hobbies exclusive? Its a little pricey being from down under but if its not an exclusive, I can certainly wait for it to show up elsewhere.

here is an ebay seller who is/was selling the heng feng jadgtigers. Price of $199....looks like he got shut down for some reason. Maybe selling before the official release date?

Looks good but what is the white crap in the first picture?

I thought it had been decided that the Jagdtiger was an exclusive of Awesome Hobbies in Australia! There are a couple of the King Tigers (not Tamiya) showing up on ebay also. I do believe this is one of the new releases and not one from several years ago. http://cgi.ebay.com/Built-1-16-Heng-Lon ... 068wt_1139

i think the awesome hobby exclusive was a way of testing the market and a way around the exclusive deal is to now have heng feng, which i gather is essentially the same company, release it with a different paint job.

apparently you can buy the new 1/16 jagdtiger for $58 to $65 per piece, if you order at least 20.

That's quite a bit better than the ~$200 retail price they're going to be, isn't it.

i don't see it being very practical. somebody has to collect all the money and be trusted not to take a powder with what could be as much as $2000, send a wire transfer to china, on top of the unit price, the shipping from china has to be paid, then when the person gets 20+ tanks he has to individually wrap them and ship them out to 19 or so different people.

It is a big job! I wouldn't want the hassle but I do want a 1/16 Jagdtiger
If I was smart I would buy all 20 and sell the others on ebay.

Oops... Didn't notice. I personally hate Tankzone, but Welsh Dragon seems to have stopped carrying them.

Asiatam might have them: http://www.asiatam.com/index.php

You could always ask Phil to order you one: http://rctankwars.com/Products.asp

That's my SU-152
The kit is out of production now, awaiting a revised re-release with even more metal.

Thanks, haven't you got an El-Mod in your KV-1? If so you could enter a video and maybe win an SU-152 when it's released. See top post here

Nope, never got around to it. I really need a new mounting plate for my gearboxes because the mato ones were crooked and screwed everything up. I just chewed up a set of asiatams, so it's gonna be static for awhile.
