Would anyone be interested in 1/18 Buildings?
I was considering sorta mass producing some 1/18 buildings/ruins/ect. Would any one be interested? They would be crafted from Blue foam and have other details made from other materials like balsa wood for trim work, flooring, ect...
How much would you pay for unique buildings and ruins around the size of the 21st farmhouse ruin. I would estimate around $55-$70 for something the size of the Farmhouse ruin with an interior. Of course each building would be priced different according to the time and supplies used. Ranging in size from small cheap ruins to full sized intact buildings (Not every building in WW2 got hit with a bomb lol). Once I get the project started if there's interest, I would be able to keep prices low hopefully to provide quality hand made buildings on the down low. But hay, if nothing sells I will just have a entire 1/18 village in my room! LOL

That's a good Idea. I might be able to whip up some for around $30 a piece or lower. Maybe do packs of 3 for $60...aferguson wrote:possibly interested in these. Would be very interested in german bunkers and fortifications, like those that were in normandy.

I think is a good idea.I have seen the buildings that you made for the winter Tiger tank diorama.I display my tanks on a book shelf,i guess most collectors do the same.My shelfs are 10 1/2" tall and some are 12 1/2 " tall.So i think it would be great buildings 10-12" tall and for those who have more room they can get extra removable pieces to make it taller.I have the Normandy farm house, but i can not display it because of the size.I keep it in storage in case i need a back ground for taking pictures of my tanks.
Short size brick walls are good for displaying on front or around the tanks and figures. And large buildings looks good behind the tanks, but they must be flat in order to fit behind the tank.
For those who want a complete building,4 wall will make a building. Not to mention it will save more space when shipping helping keeping the shipping cost low to the buyer.(let the buyer do the fun gluing part)

Good idea! It would work in some cases (letting the buyer glue it together (Hot glue).
I will have to consider making single faced buildings that fit in shelves. That's what I do, it works great! I could probably do them for around $15-$25. I could also make brick walls, stone walls, ect... I really want to keep everything cheap for the buyer but not cheap products.

I had to go not interested.
Although I do like to look at dioramas I have no interest in making them.
