Re: 1/18 Scale Ho-229. Estimated Start Date 3-21-11
Those look like prewar prototype paint jobs, alternate history is becoming more popular. Anyone ever seen the comic book "Luftwaffe 1946" ? I'm glad WWII happened when it did, If it had started in 1945 we may all be speaking German, and in the very least there would be very few Russians around.
I don't think Ill paint my first Horton like that but I'm not saying I wont paint one like that!

Can't wait to start seeing it become a reality! pickel, you know I'm in already but the full builds will be painted? If so, any idea what scheme?

I belive the Splinter Pattern will be my S-1 > You can't go wrong with this paint job.
But this looks cool as a WW 2 Style prototype

Not the color that I will use but still pretty cool looking. The red 13 came with the 1/48 Dragon kit.
It needs those crazy whacked storm troopin' type pin wheels on the tail feathers.

I recently bought a very nice custom Ho 229, done by our very own Hworth.
It looks quite similar to this one, but it is much better done. As you would expect from Harry.

I have been away for a while.
