Sources for toys

Post by Threetoughtrucks » Tue Nov 30, 2010 10:48 am

So, I needed a FOV Sherman for one of Pickel's customs that I have had on my "to do" shelf for awhile. I keep buying FOV tanks, and using them for other things. So, I Google 1/18 Sherman, and go to Amazon where they have the FOV for $35 and change. On the page I see one "used" FOV. So, how bad can it be when I will junk the top of the tank anyway. The used tank was $28, free shipping.

Today I receive it and the box is perfect and has never been opened. Plastic ties still in place. It is now on my "to do" shelf next to Pickel's M-10 kit.

A good deal with somebody's strange idea as to what is "used" and what is "new".

Keep looking for buys, they are out there......... of course so is that moronic P-47 for $800
