Post by KKH » Tue Oct 26, 2010 2:14 pm

Interesting plane up for auction on ebay. Maybe it belongs to someone on here?

Now, why wouldn't one want to keep it?

Could this be one of those BadCat Specials that had decals for Air National Guard Units?

Nope

That looks like a prototype to me.
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: [fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!

Wicked cool. I have a prototype XD WC-63 and I love it.

That would be pretty cool to have. Wouldn't really be good for display, unless you have all your F-16's displayed.

Might be interested in this, as long as it doesn't go too high.

Thanks for the link KKH. :D

It's gonna go high. Over $250 now and reserve not met. Not the right plane for a repaint. A loose F-16 would be cheaper. Oh yeah , this one is loose too.

Agreed, it would be a shame to repaint this original item.

Wish the box was with this. I have seen prototype/saleman samples bring big dollars in other stuff i collect. I woudn't repaint either, certainly seems legit. Doesn't make a nice display piece but I guess it's all in your taste. If it's a single piece or one of only a very few, I would think it be quite desirable. Guess we'll see what happens......
