BBI F-18 aresting gear

Post by JOC » Tue Sep 07, 2010 10:30 am

Anyone who has this model ever notice that the arresting hook is backwards? The end hook is put on backwards so there is no way it could ever catch the wire. Oh well, I suppose it's BOLTER BOLTER for those who have been aboard carriers.

Dude.....I think somebody has been monkeying with your models. I have both the Blue Angel and Marauders BBI F/A-18s and their hooks are correct.....?

Interesting.

Haven't even checked the arrester hook.

Any pics guys?

It should be very obvious if it is wrong.

I have a phot on my desktop that shows the arresting hook but have never been able to post images on this board. I am using a MAC and don't understand all the url stuff. Can anyone help me get this photo up?
