I should have posted pics of the FOV barrel mount but I did not. I will try to explain how I mounted the barrel to the stock FOV con figuration.

The barrel base fits TIGHT into the mantlet. When I casted the barrerls I have a brass tube laid into the mould . In that brass tube I had about 1 /16 inch rod that aligned the tube.

After pouring I pulled those rods out. The hole that it created at the base is the pilot hole to be used to screw in the screw that holds the 21 pivot "T " so the barrel moves up and down.

That same hole will be used to ancor the barrel in the FOV.

The FOV has a LARGER " T " that is held in by a large screwed in clamping device.

You need to put in another rod in that hole. Cut down the " T " and drill a hole into it to accept the rod. The " T" has a little cup on it that will have to be cut off.

The use of super glue or CA will anchor everything in placr.

Is this enough or would you guys like pics ?

Thanks, I got mine today.

" I cast the barrels with a brass tube in the middle for support "

I was wondering if the barrel would sag after time. I rememeber DML has some problems with their 1/35th Firefly barrels sagging after time.

With the rod in it it should not. That is the reason I put it in there.Otherwise with time it would look like a broken down mule.

Production is winding down on the Firefly

Now is the time to put your orders in.

I will be getting back on the Dozer and the M-3. I will be trying to get done with the prototypes of those before I go on vacation.

I will be taking off next Thursday the 15 and will be gone for about 2 weeks .
So when I get back I will start moulding those projects post haste.

So get your orders in now because it will be about 3 weeks after this week before I get them out to you.

ALL OF THE ORDERS HAVE BEEN FILLED AND SHIPPED.

It feels good to say that. It seems to take a heavy weight off of me after the orders get shipped out.

Some of the FOV addapted kits were slow to get out.

I forgot that I had to remake the cover for the mg.
That is done and the kits are on their way.

Thanks for the support guys :D :D :D :D
