Engine exhaust pointing wrong way on Big Beautiful Doll?

Post by ParatrooperCarbine » Sat Aug 27, 2005 11:48 am

Does anyone have a Big Beautiful Doll with the engine exhaust pipes pointing wrong way?

If so, were you able to fix it? Was it difficult to do so?

ParatrooperCarbine- I have a spare BBD fuselage If you want it. The exhaust stubs are correct on it. Looking at it, I think you would have to try to remove the caps that cover the screws in the fuselage and seperate the two halves. This would give you access to the exhaust stubs that appear to be molded as one part. The hard part is trying not to destroy the caps so that they may be reused. IMO, not really worth the effort.

LMK if you want the BBD fuselage. It is complete with the exception of the canopy and the horizontal stabs, and of course wing tips which you could take from your mustang. The only thing broken on it is the prop, which is missing two blades, and the right/inside main gear door is missing. Again, parts available from your mustang. I think this would be easier to fix than the exhaust stubs.

Rob,

Wow, that sounds like the perfect solution!! Thanks very much. That sounds as if I'd have considerably more success that way, especially considering I don't really have any customization skills.
