looks pretty sharp from the beta pics. Comes pre-painted with decals for Memphis Belle. No idea of price....probably under $300 for airframe only.

The only downside is that it's 1/16 scale..so about 12% too big.

For most of us would be the 6" 6" wingspan, for a display piece, that is a little on the BIG side.

Does look very good...

Yeah, a 6' 6" wingspan is a bit much.

so a 5' 10" wingspan would be ok?...cause that's the size of a 1/18 B-17. Only 8 inches difference..

For this collector 5' 10" would be too much.

For the 21C B-25, at whatever size, I would have brought it home. As much as I like the B-17, a B-25 is, wll, a B-25 .

Holy cow.

Maybe i should be switching to 1/16 scale...

all this detail is starting to make me nervous about the price though. Could be a whopper.

there starting to talk about $600 price tags, so brace yourself. I was hoping for much less.

You can thank me for the waste gun positions. I asked the guy who is producing these to add them, and he was very obliging. However, i don't think he got them quite right but close enough. He also put clear plastic in them, which is wrong for an F fortress but that should be easily removed.

He didn't seem all that familiar with the B-17 and was just making it from plans and pictures and had no idea the waste gun positions even existed. I called them waste gun 'windows' and he took me literally, so, that's why there's clear plastic in them.

Im highly tempted to buy this one since it appears there is no painting to be done and all you have to do is put it together. But, I cant understand their broken english as far as the landing gear. It says you can by them for a discount, but not if you preorder? Doesnt make any business sense to me. Anybody else translate this differently?
