Some recents finds

Post by grockwood » Tue Mar 02, 2010 10:17 am

I was at a local Target looking for any left over FOV modern Army figures. Instead I found a WWII US Army figure mixed in with the Seals and Delta figures. Last month I found a WWII German figure the same way. Not sure how they got there. But was happy to buy them. Then at TRUs I found a 21st Century XD 1/18th DAK Artillery and DAK machine gun figure priced at $2.99.

The mind is the limit. As long as the mind can envision the fact that you can do something, you can do it, as long as you really believe 100 percent.

Hold your horses... grockwood is refering to the 21c DAK figures. Some can still be found at various TRUs, including one of my local stores.

Unimax never made DAK figures and only has the current selection of German troops in the green and peadot cammo uniforms.

Our TRU cleared out all military themed toys to include PTE stuff. The section was replaced with their cheap knockoff guitars and crap. No other spot in the store for it either, I hope this is isolated in part to an idiot store mgr and isn't another 'here we go again' with the anti-war sentiment and TRU.
