I got a helluva credit from Amazon...$2 on the 10th! I assume it's just a hit waiting to clear...going to email anyway and raise a little hell.

I opened my first hornet, when the second one arrives I'm keeping it closed in the chance Mike can arrange to get us the Black Hornet and I'll send this hornet back... or if someone gets the Black Hornet and wants to trade :-D

I got a partial refund as well from Amazon for the price change

The timing of his auction is interesting. I still wonder if he got them from Comic Con or Amazon.

If he bought them for $250 at Comic Con though, he's losing a lot of money.

Well this guy went from having just 1 Hornet.....which that auction is still going....to selling his 2nd keeper at a BIN of $129.99....which BTW sold for $99.99 best offer price....to all of a sudden HAVING 4 MORE!! Now has another BIN auction with 4 of them for $129.99 each. Now just what is going on? Obviously didn't get these at ComicCon, not at the prices he's letting them go for. Does he in fact have the black ones? Someone stated earlier that he had the 2 in hand....has someone here conversed with this cat on the actual aircraft he's peddling?

His story has changed just a bit each time he has listed the auction. It went from 1 extra, to selling both the extra and his copy, to now just needing to "sell these off". He even said in his 2nd auction "I know I'm going to regret it but I have to weigh my options" Hahaha.

Maybe I'm cynical but I think it's bulls**t. 6 black F18's....just can't see especially since they are in fact a CC exclusive at this point and time. Seems to me what may happen is someone receives a gray one, complains, and seller states it was black when it left his possession and the buyer is just trying to pull a switcharoo on him. I'd beware if anyone is debating on trying this guy out.

I left a message for that eBay seller to send me a pic of the F-18 in the box, and this is the message i got back:

"You'll have to wait. I have about 60 items I need to sell and I can't because my brother is in New York with my digital camera! I can have some uploaded to you in a few days. All but one that I own have nearly perfect boxes. I will not ship the one with a damaged box. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. I'll tack the pics on when I get my camera back. "

Regards,
Theresa

So much for us thinking it is a guy. LOL

This story keeps getting better. He/she has now revised one of the auctions to the picture of the gray F-18. I think this seller dosen't have a CUE!

The BIN auction for 99.99 - I just offered him 29.99 on best offer.
Think he will give it to me for that plus free shipping??? 8) :?:

Yep, I think it's BS all the way. I'd say the auctions started before the product arrived, now they'll be in some deep caca...

Seller message: That's a little low don't you think?

I guess when you are selling them at 99.00 bucks a pop - I suppose so.
But when you can get them for 39.99 from Amazon - not really...
Oh well, I tried.

Do we have any way of trading our Golden Dragons Hornet for it at this point?

Yes, the price did go up. They also have the right picture up for it.

The green tag is there though now, so it should be $39.99 at checkout.

I'm not surprised. I believe $39.95 is far below wholesale for the Hornet in any paint scheme. Someone at TRU probably made a mistake. Heck, the $55 they were charging a couple of days ago was a fantastic deal. Darn, woulda, shoulda, coulda.

no mistake...remember the best green tag sale ever was nation wide - and was 90% And that was after the ten dollar markdown on the LAVs & M1. Yea, they were $3-$4. Worth it for the sweet figure 8)
Bikes were under 2 bucks....got me a bunch of Rangers :) The buggy has the Eric Bana guy so I got some of them too. :)

If not a mistake, I wonder why they raised the price instead of clearing them out and getting them out of the way?
