;)

Not until Monday? Thats cool. Then at least I can take a break from watching this thread. I think the "do you like Italian?" gives it away for me. I think its the 1/18th Zero that has been talked about in the past here. Ity wasnt my first choice but I can live with it. I have no complaints if it is.

Time to stop watching this thread until Monday!

Thanks Andrew for the heads up....at least now we can stop bitching
I'm not the brightest bulb in the 1:18 scale bulk pack  - how do we derive Zero from Italian? Zero makes more sense than anything Italian, but what's the connection :? ?

I hope it's a spicy meataballa!
(How can you make typing seem like a cheesy Italian accent?)
I really hope and pray it is the Zero---I want one of those more right now. I am sure the A-10 will have its day. But, we need some combat in the PTO and not just ground skirmishes. On the other hand---it could be the Macchi 202 that some of us (cough cough aferg cough) lust after. And if it is, I promised to buy it for him oh so many years ago when we had the it has a snow ball's chance in hell of being produced discussion. Here is to a fun Monday.

Well with 21st announcing its doing a Zero I'm hoping it will be an A-10 we need more modern jets as there are scads of Props out there. Although I would welcome a Hellcat and Dauntless as well.

I agree. I wish someone would do the A-10. The modern jets are severly being looked over now. The Zero wil be nice (if that is what it is), but makes me wonder if we are ever going to see anymore modern aircraft. Come on BBI, make a move with more modern jets like the A-10 for starters.

The A10 has been based at Aviano Italy from time to time{not sure if they are currently}Maybe that could be the "Italian Connection"An Aviano based A10?I wish.

After reading Afergs italian "Hint" I'm pretty sure were talking about Italian Fighters coming...humm.

I'm sorry, but I just don't see Italian Fighters being as "sellable" an aircraft as an A-10 and Zero. If they are releasing an Italian fighter, I sure would like to know where we've been "begging" for that one?

I think Ferg, Ski, and myself are about the only people who have ever said they like the Macchi. So, I think that we can assume it is not an Italian fighter.

No - I think Zero makes sense after I had it explained to me.
Zero goes great with Corsair too. Italian fighter - I doubt.

Seems like it would be a Zero since 21st is also doing a Zero and so far Bbi has followed 21st planes. I would much rather have an A-10 but will still appreciate a Zero for those Pacific Theater Afficianados. I would but either but I would buy a whole lot more A-10's
Todd

PS It would be pretty crazy if it was an Italian Macchi-that would just be funny!

I know I'd be good for at least three A-10's if they would release one.

Ditto..... I like to do my own repaints and detailing. I can easily think of three A-10 paint schemes I would love to have. I'll just "wait and see".

Its the only aircraft (the A-10) that I would buy multiples of so far I've only collected one of each with the exception of the p-40 (Raf and Tiger versions) and the P-47 (bubble and razorback). I could see for the A-10 a Euro Scheme, Sky gray, Desert, and that early desert camo simular to the desert ME-109.

I agree with you guys that AFerg's "Italian" hint probably refers to the Japanese Hinomaru, the "meatball" on the wings of Japanese WWII planes.
Also, I wonder why 21st Century made such a big deal about their Zero at Comic Con when it's still only a prototype.
Could it be they were trying to steal BBI's thunder? I am fervently rooting for both companies to succeed, but if 21st Century doesn't get its rear in gear, BBI is going to eat their lunch. BBI's new Corsair is a case in point! :?

DCWay,The P-40 is a typo from a long time ago. It's believed that it is supposed to be the P-51.......
