New BH at BC

Post by digger » Wed Aug 10, 2005 4:15 pm

I see BCA is selling a "new" BH. It is OD - if not OD then what the hell was the first one?

I'm glad they pushed back the P-51s for another run of BlackHawks! :P

Digger, the new blackhawk for sale at Bad Cat Aviation is not new. It's the same part number as the series 1 blackhawk... bbi # 21184.
One hundred and fifty three - 1:18 scale aircraft on the ceiling looks  damn good!

21st C S2 marines spotted in SoCal

Post by markecho » Thu Aug 11, 2005 7:49 am

Passed by 2 wally's yesterday morning and saw the S2 Marines (yes camo version). (since I was on a SW run I didn't see the prices)

if i had time to check PM's more often today I would PM people the location (to avoid scalpers) but since i can't today:

Wstmnstr (Beach & 22) - 11 S2 marines
HB (Talbert & Beach) - 12 S2 marines

good luck and happy hunting!
It is the dang toy companies that have sometimes made me want to stop collecting toys!!!

This Walmart stuff is getting expensive!

Today they had about one case of the BoB mix and two cases of the S1 marines, along with Humvee, WC63, and Command Car. So, I finally got all the marines. The faces are not as bad as I feared, which is why I waited on these until I saw them in person. Also picked up another WC63.

Thought I was all caught up, but now if the Sahara stuff is showing up, out I go again. On vacation next week, and I usually use Walmarts for potty breaks during the drive. Maybe I can hold off until then.

Gotta love Walmart when they reset. The Ottawa, Illinois store showed the 1/18 109, Corsair and Pz IV as dicontinued. Picked them up for $30 each.

Lol.. That's me.. It's always, "honey, I'm going to look over here a minute".. She knows where I am going....

Unfortunately, most of my local Walmarts are in the middle of the reset.. But I did manage to pick up the 32x Eagleston P-47 and the 32x Bf-109 Nightfighter at a "off the wall" Walmart..

See, the wife hates Walmart, so if we're stopping there, it only means I want to look for toys. I try to convince her the bathrooms are at least cleaner than most gas stations.

Morian Miner,
I will have to have my wife talk to yours. I can't drag her out of Walmart sometimes...
On vacation, she has to visit the local Walmart. Like it's gonna be any different than the one at home??
I got her a sign that sits by our front porch that reads: If I'm not home, try Walmart

Of course it works to my advantage when I am looking for the newest XD item at Wally's, she wants to shop there too!

funny, but last week as i was driving to/from the beach with my girlfriend i somehow managed to stop at 6 wms and 2 trus.

needless to say she was exasperated and a little cranky about all the u-turns!

it is funny how we all do the same thing. that means we're normal, right? 8)

Add me to this list too! But now she's gotten wiser and when I want to stop I get "Aw, Geez, not again!" Then once inside, if I'm lucky to find ANYTHING, I get "Don't you already have this one?" "$39 for that?" "What're you gonna do with that?" "Don't you have enough of this stuff?" The things we gotta do......
