WAS LULUBELLE'S PICTURE ON THE BOX FOR KEPFORD REPAINTS?

Post by Buckyroo » Sat Jan 09, 2010 2:28 pm

Last week I received a Kepford repaint off of Ebay. The seller had it displayed, but placed it back in the box for shipping. Everything is in good condition. Not mint, but good. I was putting it with my other boxed planes and noticed that it was in a Pappy Boyington Box with the whole Boyington write up on the back. Did this seller goof up and put it in the wrong box, or did all of them come in that box at that production time frame? Thanks for the help.

The Kepford Corsair only came in 2 boxes.
The original weathered release that came in the F4Y1D box and than the later Kepford release that came in the normal Ultimate Soldier F4U1A box. The seller must have put that in the wrong box.
