KAGNEW:

Mine arrived on Thursday also, and like you I think it's just top-notch. I'll keep it in the box for a while, as I like to do.

Anyway, I can't help but think: Not so long ago I wanted someone to come out with a 1:18 jet, and now I've got three! Looking forward to the F-86 and the ME262.

i hope they keep up good work.
the F-104C is so nice, i took it to local hobby shop an told them that it was a premade toy, everybody thought i was kidding.
a Chuck Yeager P-51D and F-86 would be nice
but i still vote for a F-4E and a Mig 21
later

Not Out

Post by digger » Sun Aug 07, 2005 5:30 am

They are not out yet so either ebay or someone who was at CC sent one. You will need to wait at least a few months for this version as I understand.

Yeah, Digger is correct it's going to be a few months before the German F-104 is ready for general release. Same with the Gunther Rall Bf-109G 6. Both were part of an early release program, in fact 21st had a limited supply sent air from china 2 days before the show. I am not sure if others are ready in china just waiting to ship of what. All I know is 21st told me just the other day that they sold out almost the entire supply they had at the show, and that general release would happen for a few months. But just hang tight they will come.

Hi, well at least I can confirm that the Rall Me´s and some Luftwaffe F-104´s made it to europe. I got 5 Rall´s today and some F-104´s showed up on ebay and were sold quickly. However I also got one and it really is a great item. And the Rall Me is much better than the other Me´s !!! :-) C00per

I have a profile of the Vietnam 104 posted in the Profile Album. Check it out here:

http://community.webshots.com/photo/329 ... 1422RGUJpF

The 21st rendition is 100% accurate.

If you ever have any questions on paint schemes of bbi or 21st aircraft or vehicles, the Profile Album should be your first stop! Enjoy.

No, they did not. They escorted F-105s for a while, but they had a high loss rate to AAA and missles. An F-104 was not very robust. They did keep Mig-21s off of their charges, though.
