21st's Molds
21st's Molds
With 21st out of business what will happen to all their molds?
It would seem that there would be a interest in aquiring these for someone, or is the 1:18 and 1:32 scale just not that profitable. I know on this forum everyone wants more, but was the market really there to keep a major player in business?
I have only been collecting the last few years and of course as soon as I find something I really enjoy it seems that the availability of models disappears. I know that there are other manufactures and their quality is great, but 21st was good and very affordable, just wondering.

I wonder what happened to the KING TIGER prototype.Jericoeagle1 wrote:Personally I always wonder what happened to their A-10 prototype or their, F-4, B-25, or Mig-21 prototype (snicker-snicker) for that matter.
The mind is the limit. As long as the mind can envision the fact that you can do something, you can do it, as long as you really believe 100 percent.

I am sure that the A-10 and the King Tiger went home with employee(s). Hard to say if some of the others ever actually existed in 1:18 scale prototype form. Doubt it.Stug45 wrote:I wonder what happened to the KING TIGER prototype.Jericoeagle1 wrote:Personally I always wonder what happened to their A-10 prototype or their, F-4, B-25, or Mig-21 prototype (snicker-snicker) for that matter.
