PTE Patrol Boat Outboards Problem

Post by Rowsdower » Sat Oct 24, 2009 4:55 pm

I just bought the PTE patrol boat today an I really like it. I especially like the plastic "sea" piece that you can put the boat on. Anyway, the two outboard motors... How do you attach them? There is a hinged piece on the motors but I can't figure out what I am supposed to do with it. Am I missing something? :?

I have never figured that one out myself. I ended up epoxying them on.

 well then, glue it is. 8) For such a nice boat you'd think they would have made a simple mount.

I think there are some slots that they slide into...

Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!

I think they forgot the slots on mine. Some X-Acto carving and a little Loc-Tite control gel took care of the problem. I had just hoped I was missing something obvious as I often do.
