Airsrike Toys RAF Corsair

Post by snake » Wed Sep 23, 2009 4:48 pm

Just had this delivered from Patrick at Airstrike Toys.

http://www.sshqdb.com/18/displayimage.p ... =692&pos=0

The model is very nice, and looks better in person. 8)

It is based on the BBI F-4 Corsair, and I must say that he has done a fantastic job on it.

They also do other F-4 U Corsairs, and a series of Hellcats.

For those of you interested in 1/18 custom F-4U,or F-6 Hellcats,he would be the guy to talk to.

His site is down at the moment for maintenance.

Airstriketoys.com,I believe.

Very nice. I hope you really enjoy it. What number is yours?

I have been waiting to get the Bunker Hill Hellcat to go with my other Bunker Hill AC, just been sidetracked by other AC purchases.

To tell you the truth,I hadn't noticed what number it is.

Patrick says that he will only do 50 copies of each version, and then that's it.

I have a large number of boxes that have been delivered in the last month. :D
About 30 models.

I just unpacked it,and took it out of the box to check that all the pieces were there, and to admire the quality.
I didn't even assemble it yet.
Then its back into its original shipping box.
Time to check out my next package.

It looks like Christmas, and my Birthday, all rolled into one here.
I know, life is pretty rough.

Once I have gone through everything,my RAF Corsair is going to be one of the first new models on display.

I have Corsairs done by 21C,two by BBI,and the new JSI Boyington.

This is easily the best, and very limited. One of only 50.

BTW,Buckyroo, the Bunker Hill Hellcat would make a great addition to your collection.
