My BL has yet to put out the $5 figure sets, Humvee or Attack Buggy. There's about 3 other BL in the area that I haven't checked yet.
Would've been kind of neat to see Unimax and their 'value priced' military sets gone after the PTE market instead of the GI JOE market...

I didn't see any sign of the APC. They also have some of the older sets that haven't been as readily available in the past year or two. The cheapest shipping is UPS ground and depends on location. I added the T98, Z9 and FAV to my cart to get a shipping quote to GA and the shipping came to $18.85. Shipping rates are better to the West Coast. The shipping for those items to CA would be about $12. The best value when factoring shipping comes when you buy multiple items. For just the FAV it would be pretty steep but it doesn't go up much as you add items.

Check here in the Army Toys and Toy Airplanes sections:

Kduck, have you - or anyone else - gotten your items yet or a notice of shipping from the store beyond the paypal reciept? Just curious. The Type 98 tank is no longer pictured on the PTE section.

Sorry about the double post, but oddly enough, it seems the tank in question was discontinued... Too bad, but at least I got my $50 refunded.

Sorry they didn't have it in stock. I haven't actually ordered anything from that site. I'm not really into the Chinese Army PTE 1/18 stuff. I just provided the link because I know that others here are interested. I just did a check and it looks like all the Chinese Army stuff is either no longer listed or out of stock. That sucks. I also posted that link on the Power Team Yahoo group so it's possible that what they had was wiped out by rabid PTE fans ;)

There still is a ray of hope... The same store's companion shop in England has the tank in stock plus some of the other Chinese PTE items. I spoke with them via e-mail this morning regarding the pricing. The tank costs about $41 US (which is what it was priced at here) but shipping to California is $35 making for a nearly $80 PTE tank. While that is not an unreasonable quote, it is sort of ironic as the US store is in California.

Now to decide whether I want to fork over nearly $80 for this

I also noticed that they had some stuff in the UK shop that wasn't in the US shop. I would shop around a bit before purchasing. Do a Google search for "World Peacekeepers Main Battle Tank" and see if you can find it cheaper. Also remember that those UK prices generally include VAT which is about 15% which you shouldn't have to pay as an international customer. Here are a couple of other shops in the UK that have it:

It looks like Sears Canada is once again getting new sets that aren't showing up on the US Sears site. Unfortunately as has been mentioned previously they don't ship to US addresses. The first 2 sets were mentioned by digger in this thread:
viewtopic.php?t=13875

Power Team Elite® Battlefield Play Set $49.99 CAD - Includes a nice looking bombed out building along with assorted other pieces. It would probably fit in many different theatres with a repaint:

Power Team Elite® Infantry Fighting Vehicle and Fast Attack Vehicle Play Set $39.99 CAD - Includes the Chinese APC and FAV:
http://www.sears.ca/gp/product/B002LD6E ... nodeid=APS

Power Team Elite® Infantry Deluxe Vehicle Play Set $34.99 CAD - This appear to be old favorites packaged in a new playset - Includes US FAV, Jeep, ATV, Cycle w/ Sidecar, sandbags with grenade launcher & other weapons and diorama pieces:
http://www.sears.ca/gp/product/B002LCQM ... nodeid=APS

For other sets that have been available previously do a search on their website for "Power Team". So far no PTE is showing up on the US Sears or JC Penney sites.

Now that I'm thinking about it...last year Sears had the 'desert' set. If that doesn't show up here this year...what luck will we have with the other new sets...
