JSI Corsair and Lightning

Post by ExC17load » Mon Aug 10, 2009 1:26 am

I just got the new planes here in Turkey, and I have to tell you, they are pretty. I am not too keen on the "weathering" on the corsair. It looks like the work I did when I was twelve with a basic testors brush, but the base paint looks sharp and the fit and finish, from what I can see through the plastic looks awesome. The boxes are what truly make it. For the first time ever, I am actually considering not taking the plane out and displaying them, just doing it inside the box. The box, with the silver backing and all the info just makes the entire plane look good. Ten times better than 21C did, even with the special editions.

Just thought I would share my opinion. Overall, very satisfied with the product and happy new planes are on the market!
"I can stop collecting 1:18 scale anytime, really I can. OOoh, the new Stuka re-paint! I don't have that one.

Curious that you would want the planes sent to you while your on deployment. Seems like they would get broken and mis handled even more.

I remember when I was on deployment to Japan and was in a barracks.
At the time the rule was the less personal stuff the better.
