The WM in Vancouver Washington, on Millplain has both the halftracks, M-41 and 2 different Japanese soldiers. No 32x and strangely no beat up FW-190's.

Local Tucson Walmart had about 3-4 each of COEDs, Hanomogs, Walkers, and Halftracks. About 5 P47s and a couple FW's. A case of Japanese infantry was there (now in my car), but surprisingly no Marines.

Also, a TON of 1/6 scale weapon packs and 32X figure sets. About flipping time.

Scored 2 sets of the Japanese troops today at WM in Vacaville, CA. They also had lots of the BOB figures, some Marines, 1 M-41, 1 M1025 (tan), and 1 German halftrack.

Anybody find the 104 in the greater Cincinnati area yet? Let me know if you do. I found the USMC, IJA, HTs and tanks. I am anxious to get my hands on the new Starfighter.

I didn't think WM would be getting the 104's that fast.

Oh--ok. I thought they were at the Wally-World already. I thought I missed them when I saw everything else there. Well, at least I am still in the hunt.

My local Wal-Marts had Panzers in 1:18, and the new 1:32 Sky Captain P-40 today. Nice to see some new items.

thanks!!

seems fair since the Panzer is heavier if made in the "metal" concept that they now use. plus the two figs are cool.

i'm looking foward to it showing up here.

take care.

Haven't seen those Panzers for sometime now. I'm not sure if WM will be getting another shipment of those in.

With no real other place to put this, why wouldn't this set work with my 1:18 guys? :P Eversparkle is underscale a bit anyway.... :D http://www.smallblueplanet.com/content/ ... ctId=13262

Aside from the chairs, etc...nothing really looks that out of scale for 4" does it? I mean, for a 12" figure the climbing wall is about 11 feet....but for a 4" it's about 25 feet :D Let me down easy....

Hey Q, what walmart did you find the armor at? Have you seen the Marines in the area yet?

Just got back from my local walmart and nothing new. The only thing from 21st were the FW-190's, they keep bringing them out. These are not the same ones I saw last week. I wonder how many they have :?:

Sale

Post by digger » Sat Jul 30, 2005 8:05 pm

SBP had a sale - most everything is gone now but you can still get a $16 CIA Huey if you want, and some Pilots are there at $2 each. One of the modern guys & a Marine too maybe for 2 bucks.

I got a 1:32 Chaffee & Panzer III for under $6 each! It was like walking into WM and having "one of those days" :D I need to start staying home more on Saturday night :P Yea, my GF will love that....

Digger,
Thanks a million on the tip about SBA's sale.
I snagged a Ultimate Soldier XD: WWII German Tiger 1 Tank - 1:18 Desert Camo for 17 bucks!
It popped up for a moment and then it was gone.
I clicked on it before it was gone.

Bringing up SBP, what the hell is going on there?? THey used to have a good selection of XD stuff and now nothing! I wonder if they are in hurting status?? Man, when I used to visit their store, I got some real zinger deals in the storeroom. They would have a sort of crash/dent sale every Sunday or so a year ago or so, before they moved. I picked up $25 Ambush panthers, P-51s, and a $15 S2 109 and a $25 1:6 PaK 40! I was literally shaking at the time and my wife was less than thrilled. I got to see the Shark P-38 in person before it was released.... What a great place it was......

Yea, it's not what it used to be for XD or in general now, but this last sale was one for the ages - much like some of your warehouse steals Ski.

I was too stupid to check other parts of the site when I ordered my XD - I missed Britains which I could never afford at full price selling for under 12 bucks a set. 21st 1:6 figures were around 6 bucks, I can only imagine what I missed from bbi & Dragon.

SW is on sale too - I bought a few figures just for the headsculpts (yes, they were only about 2 bucks....). I missed most of the Joes, but they still have some marked down. The guys with the gum are a buck I think. :)
Even the 1:18 decals were on sale! :D It is/was perhaps the greatest online sale I've been a pert of 8)

Btw, who left the $2 Marines (Razor?), I grabbed a couple this morning. If you are awake and like toys I recommend checking it out before it's ALL gone....
