i was just looking at pics of bbi's daisy june and it looks like it's not dark blue overall but has medium blue under the wings and white drop tanks.
Is this right? I thought by that stage of the war, late 44 into 45, all ship borne aircraft were dark blue overall. Daisy June was on the Block Island in 45.
Anyone know?
i never met an airplane i didn't like...

I know which pics you mean, but, no, the actual plane is painted in a late-war dark blue (IIRC, this was called 'midnight blue') scheme overall.

Yep, Mine is all dark blue.... It's my favorite 1:18 Corsair of all time....

I love this Corsair. The BBI Corsair is one model that has many fans!

Fred, really looking forward to the JSI 1/18th scale Grumman F-14 Tomcat.
