Camo Pak 40 Error
I bought 4 of the camo PAK 40s and it says -12 patton tank deal, that made them 3.95 a piece, they are listed 4.99 if you buy 4 or more. Good deal for me.

Don't we wish!Tinman wrote:So you can get 4 M48s for 96 cents each? Am I reading that right?

No the .96 is the "savings" you are to get.
Which is wrong because this corresponds to the Pak-40 discount on a qty of 4.
M48s come 2 to a box and Pak-40s come 4 to a box.
So MD is just giving you a discount if you buy the qty that are already boxed and saving them to repackage the product.
But the discount is not applying correctly for the M48's.
It is taking the Pak-40 discount instead of the correct 11.99 each for qty of 2.

Question: Anyone know why some items come and go and others stay and stay on MD? The Pak 40s, Me-262 night fighters, F-104(s) etc. have been there for months. But other things will show up and then go away and then come back. Obviously some things, like the P-38s they've had from time to time are just rare finds that somehow come into their hands, or personal items belonging to the owners. But other things appear in numbers, go away and then come back in numbers -- like the F4U they have now and had before, but went away for a while, or the SS parade figure set.
Are they digging into a container a layer at a time and only listing what they find as they unload it? Or are new lots coming to them from some source in another place? If the latter, does anyone know what that source is?

The F-104's and Migs were obviously re-run for TRU, and the Nightfighter never made it into the mass merchandise stores. I think that explains why MD has a ton of them to sell.
