Interest in a Me 109 G - 10 in 1/18 scale ?

Post by pickelhaube » Sat Apr 25, 2009 1:30 pm

I am mid way into the Pavehawk custom. Painting these things are kicking my butt.
After this is done I am going to produce my quad Flak 38. I have the new moulds made but I may have to remake the originals because of wirblewind wore them out. :x

Then the M-10 :D :D :D

I will do another 2 or 3 pices of armor then I may switch back to airplanes again.

I have been approached by fellow board member ONE- O - NINE about doing a Me- 109 G-10 convertion. That is the one with the taller tail. He has set me up with a 1/32 model and donated a mother donar BBI 109. So basicly I am ready to go on this if I ever get caught up.

The custom mod kit would consist of:

New tail
New cowling
New vacuform canopy
Poss. new wheels
Misc. bumps and bulges.

It should fit on either a 21st or BBi 109.

Would there be any other guys who would want this mod kit ?

i'd probably be interested in getting one at some point. I doubt you could make it fit both the bbi and 21c model, though. Probably better to tailor it to the bbi one as the 21c versions are drying up and future supplies are uncertain.
i never met an airplane i didn't like...

I think your right. You can still get the BBI with ease.

Would any one else be interested in this custom kit ?
