I happened by a Marshall's yesterday and found two cloth coverd trucks for $12.99 each! Although not as good as $7.99, better than full price so I picked them up! They are the first cloth top versions I have purchased. I'll check them out when my wife goes back to work on Monday as they are still in my truck. No sense making waves after my recent MD purchases!scwarlord wrote:My wife just returned from a Marshall's with 2 $7.99 canvas trucks and a $2.00 Vogel. All of the items are marked down from the original Marshall's prices. Good hunting.

Hi,scwarlord wrote:In Big Lots today I found canvas trucks ($10), jungle cutters ($10), troop carriers ($10) and numerous figures for $3, including the Temple Guard and the Giant Sikh bad guy from The Temple of Doom. Good searching as more of the obscure figures continue to show up.
I am in Northern KY and have checked 1 of my local Big Lots. Just same old stuff with only dust and clutter to add to the ambience.
Thanks for the tip and will be checking out more BLs in the next week or so.

Same here in SE Virginia! Checked several BL this morning and all they had was some "Golden Compass" figures but no IJ. Also checked "TJ Max" and they had one Jungle Cutter ($12.99), a double pack of German Soldiers ($6.99), a double pack of Cairo Henchman ($6.99) and a single Indy ($3.99). I passed on them!Razor17019 wrote:Hi,scwarlord wrote:In Big Lots today I found canvas trucks ($10), jungle cutters ($10), troop carriers ($10) and numerous figures for $3, including the Temple Guard and the Giant Sikh bad guy from The Temple of Doom. I just stopped in and my Big Lots had the complete Last Crusade Wave carded, and a canvas top truck/jungle cutter duo. I got the truck and Dr. Jones, leaving the rest. No TOD figures, but BL's are like fly dirt, so I'm going to hit several more in the coming days to see what I can find.
I'd love to army build the Thuggees if I can find them! I wouldn't mind a 2nd TOD Indy too, to customize into a better overall figure.
I have like 4 soft top trucks to customize now too. Yippee!

Figures were $4, vehicles $10. Figures not much of a deal, but not bad either. If you find Temple of Doom figures for even full retail, you're fortunate. TLC figures aren't exactly tough finds now, but still $4 isn't horrid for Elsa, Vogel, or the knight. Even carded Henry Sr. is worth the price for his parts.
