XD&BBI Mustang pics

Post by pokeyjtc » Sun Jan 13, 2008 12:41 am

I decided to take all of my XD and BBI Mustangs that are out of the box and snap some pics of them in the backyard. This group also includes 4 of my mustang repaints. My fiance snapped the one of me setting them up.

Now that is a nice collection!!! I like the custom East Wreatham-based green nosed P-51. And your fiance still wants to marry you after this?? You are indeed a lucky man!! :)

It is nice to have an understanding spouse who supports the hobby. My wife would say " that is nice when are you going to get that stuff ofo of the driveway? Do it before the neigbors see" :?

Everything is bigger in Texas! That giant cocktail olive is one of my dog's toys

My fiance is quite understanding, and XD is the cheaper of my two major hobbies. The other one is 1:1 car collecting. As for those pics, the concrete area that I took them on is actually in my back yard. The previous owner put it in for a basketball court. So the neighbors don't get to see my collection when it goes outside for photos. Here's one more photo of the last time I took everything outside for a group picture. The photo is over a year old, so I've added quite a bit since then.

I decided to let my Mustangs out again since the weather was nice. I was actually going to put all of my unboxed XD plane collection out for a group photo, but I totally underestimated how much time it would take. So I only got the Mustangs out with enough daylight left for some photos. Enjoy.

Nice collection! I don't know what it was, but I found the 21c Mustangs to be particularly addictive myself
