He-111 at Bad Cat: Valentine's Sale

Post by aae83 » Thu Feb 05, 2009 11:26 am

OK, after a little resuscitation, I think I can share this.

Bad Cat's Valentine's Day Sale email arrived today with a picture of an He-111 Condor Legion, (mis)labeled 1/18th scale, at the sale price of $99.99.

I wonder if they did it just to stir the waters a bit... wouldn't it have been a sucker punch if it was real? And how cool would a 1/18 He-111 be?

Anyway, here's the link, until they come along and correct it.

Enjoy!
John

P.S. The 94th Aero Squadron F-14A Tomcat in the lower right (1/48th) is also a scheme I haven't seen before. At $39.99, another good price.
Was it for this my life I sought? Maybe so, and maybe not...

Yes, that is a 72nd scale model. But for a second there I was excited! How awesome would an 18th scale HE-111 be, just about as cool as it gets. :D

It's been a long road, but I am still in the game. :)

A 1:18 HE-111 would be beyond my wildest expectations!

Heck I would almost settle for a 1:32, well I would be ecstatic to say the least.

btw there is currently a Ju-88 available. It's a bit big; 1/15.5 scale, so it's about the size of an He-111 but looks like a Ju-88. :)

I havent' got it yet because of its largeness but i'm thinking about it. They're coming out with a nightfighter version of it this year, so that might do me in.

Here's some info on it, beautiful kit. Prepainted, minimal assembly. The canopy framing is vacuformed so cutting it out is the biggest pain
