Well MD has 377 XD Panthers left in stock right now. 82 88 guns, 128 pak 40's. , 65 251/22's, 117 M16 halftracks, 83 P-51 Old Crow, 162 Avengers, 94 M3A3 halftracks. That is a lot of excess inventory.

Tambo, there is only one thing left to do. Order thrice. Think of it as patriotism helping to stimulate the economy...

Yeah, I have bought more XD in the past week than I have in the past 18 months (and I think the total bill so far is still less than my last 1/6 figure!) The SS set, 2 Panthers, 2 88's, a Me-262 Nightfighter... what's next? And where will I put it all?!? Good problems to have, especially if this is the last we'll see from 21st.

which corner of the warhouse has the spits, maybe a couple of p-47 schemes I ignored at 25.00-39.00, and some more stuff I might buy - like its 2000-2001 all over again-(and cheaper, too)

Shipping for an 88 and a halftrack=18.74
Shipping for an 88 and a Pak 40 = 21.84
Shipping for an 88 and a Panther = 32.22
Gets pricey quick.I think I'll have to pass on this one or I may be wishing I saved the money for a divorce lawyer

Wow I just spent another $1100.00 at MD. The shipping on some stuff is worse then others. The Panter tanks and the planes have much higher shipping then the patton tank or the 88. I can understand the planes because of size but the patton and panther tanks are about the same size and weight but the panther shipping is about $5.00 more per tank. I had to really play with the #'s to get my shipping price where I wanted it.

Ironically, my 2 Panthers were about $30 for shipping. I ordered my 2 88's before the Panthers shipped, and shipping on the 2 was closer to $18. And when I ordered my nightfighter tonight (none of the previous stuff has shipped yet), shipping was like $9.50. So they must be combining shipping from separate orders when possible. They wait much longer and keep adding stuff to the sale, they will need to ship it all by truck freight...

Does anyone know how long it takes MD to notify you if an item you ordered is unavailable? Quantities were low when I ordered but I did get a confirmation email.I hope I didn't debate this too long since I doubt I will ever see this item again for under $40.Now I'm crossing my fingers for the lost cases of Fallschirmjager figs.

Add 999 of something to your cart and it will adjust to what they have.

So what will be the special of today? I'd collapse if the helicopters made an appearance.

"We have to get these people to a hospital."

"Oh my, doctor, what is it?"

"It's a large building with a lot of sick people inside---but that's not important right now."

Hee-hee.
