1/18th Custom Tank Destroyer...
The Zerstorer or Destroyer, is a custom I've been working for a few months. It started out as a Panther and then became a... (what if) they put a larger gun into it. Take a look.............http://cohttp://community.webshots.com/ ... ktBmmunity.

Dang! Those are AWESOME! As good as a 21c production product. I like how you did the interior on the Zerstorer. Did you do one for the Jagdpanther as well? Seeing customs like yours gets me itching for some new 1:18 21c armor - they have alot of 32x vehicles they could up scale and add interiors to!

Thanks Guys, this custom was fun;but it took a while. Some time ago I came across a book by Edward McGrane... "Exotic Panzers in Miniature" not all that exotic but cool. The Destroyer or "Zerstorer" was based on a Panther into which a larger main gun was to be placed. A 12.8 cm was considered but it never happened. The 12.8cmL/55 would end up in the Jagdtiger.
As for the interior, the gun was taken out of a Tiger and the Jagdpanther has no interior datale.
SKI, no you don't have to open the rear service doors to fire the gun; just DON'T stand behind the gun...
We want more.... well I've got two Panzer IV's Im about to cut up. A Sturmpanzer IV, Brummbar and a Panzer IV /70, Lang will be in the works.
Red 69, any projects going on?
Take Care All and Thanks for the Intrest,
Normandy
