Has Anybody Heard of Bitz Figures?

Post by scwarlord » Tue Dec 30, 2008 6:13 pm

My wife and boys returned from TJMaxx yesterday with a group of Bitz Medieval foot figures. These are painted, multi piece, moveable knights, crusaders, crossbowmen, and archer figures that may be 1/24 or 1/20 scale. They are not as multi-jointed as 21st or Hasbro figures, but remind me of the old swoppet figures. The bitztoys website does not come up, and I can only find mounted versions on various websites. The back of the card says '2007' so I assume these have been out awhile. Also, they are sold as puzzles, which is puzzling.
Anyway, nice figures.

Also, my boys reported numerous Elsa and Vogel Indy figures on the pegs at TJMAxx.

Looks like they're 6 inch figures which would make them 1/12 scale, unless they also make smaller ones.
i never met an airplane i didn't like...

PS - The link that goes to the POC figures does so because the original website put the knight figure pages inside the POC ones as frames. So when you copy and paste the knight html - the link goes to POC. I had to view the frame separately to get the html I wanted. weird.
