Bell X-1

Post by Sabrefan » Tue Dec 02, 2008 10:09 pm

Was Pegasus going to make a Bell X-1 in 1/18th scale? I was wondering where I heard that?

It's been a long road, but I am still in the game. :)

Yep and it's due 01/08...at least that's what they said this time last year... I don't hold my breath for any future 1/18 Pegasus aircraft offerings.

I was also looking forward to this. As my primary focus in 1/18 is post-WW2 jets/helis, this would be a nice addition especially since it is such an historic aircraft. There's just such a slim selection in 1/18 jets, even less in 1/32, and all this "we're totally making it, but we're just kidding!" stuff bites.

I'm sure there's good reason and hopefully it turns up sooner than later.

I wish I would have gotten into the game early enough to get an F-16 and F/A-18, Cobra and Huey. =/

A good article on the color of the X-1
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: [fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!
