The Economy

Post by dandaman » Fri Nov 07, 2008 5:06 pm

More XD 2-Packs on the shelves will help the ailing economy.

They will make us go into WalMart more often, spend more money, and thus infuse the economy with a jolt of consumer purchasing.

It's a great idea!

2 packs have already surfaced in other areas including our local TRU (Northern CA). One store has over 3 pegs full!

Checked out 3 TRU here and everyone of them had just 4 or 5 single pack XD's, DAK's. NO double packs.
Again I keep thinking that maybe it wasn't WM's fault with XD stuff. 21C now can't even keep the shelves full at TRU.
I did this recon yesterday, Wed before Thanksgiving-you'd think the shelves would be full to start off the Black Friday shopping...but...nope...
by the way, Happy Thanksgiving everybody!!

I guess it really doesn't matter, since I already spent all my holiday money on Death Star Troopers...I wouldn't be able to buy any 2-packs if I saw them...

They must've got lost and found there way into Dublin, CA. The TRU there has over 3 pegs stacked full of them. Well over 50 packs!

I bought 2 at the Allen, TX TRU. They had more Dandaman. Mainly D-Day, DAK, and Vietnam. I don't know where you are in DFW but Allen is just north of Plano.

I picked up the WWII US/Wehr and Wehr/Wehr 2-packs from eBay before Xmas.
I was disapointed the Beretta SMG (?) gunner comes with a MP40 pouch but has kar98 pouches fixed. Also the German figures only have two holes on their belt available for the breadbag. Unless you drill more holes and cut the kar98 pouches away you can't attach the entrencing tool or MP40 pouch.
I did find it amusing the Germans all have SS camo smocks/helmets, but 21st's political correctness labels them as Wehrmacht.
