FOV 1/18 M16 Half-track
FOV 1/18 M16 Half-track
Saw these today at a newly reopened Target on Balboa (San Diego). Same box as Sherman and Tiger(Bravo Team). Looked bigger then the 21st. Didn't know they were coming out with this.$21. Sorry if this is old news.

7rounds is this the Half-track you saw at target?

it's just a very optimistic picture of the 1/18 version. It's probably a reused picture of the 1/32 prototype.
I wonder if this means the Stryker will be showing up soon, as it was supposed to be released at the same time. The Tigers may be reappearing soon too.

i never met an airplane i didn't like...
sigh
great to hear about something new but why o why do the halftrack? 21C did a great job and they're still available! Really a poor choice, but I trust [hope] they know what they're doing.

If nothing else this will be something new to pick up. I did stop at Target the other night with Tigers in my eyes, but I came away empty handed.
Nothing new.

Very nice to know the first sighting was in California
Hopefully the new FOV vehicles will get better distribution than the 21c items did. I'll remain wary until I see one in person, however. I doubt I'll get one as the 21c version is so nice and I have two of those. The FOV Stryker, on the other hand, will be a must if and when it comes out.

While I like to see any new piece of armor, I'd sure rather see FOV (or anyone else) come up with something we haven't see before.
How about a Scout Car? How about a M-8 or M-20 armored cars? How about another version of a half-track, like a mortar carrier or the M-15 (with the 37MM AA gun and the twin .50cals).
Somebody should use their imagination instead of coping what has been released before. We know FOV can do it......with their models.

I saw two of these last night at Target but passed. They look very toy-like compared to the 21C M-16. The only thing I can think of is they would make for inexpensive custom bases. Hopefully this means that Tigers won't be far behind.

Have not seen these yet, but from what it sounds they should be in my area soon enough. They seem to be a west coast release this time
Still, from the reports, I am not that excited and will most likely pass as I've already got two of the superior 21c versions.
