Sales

German figures do sell well, don't they?

I wonder how well Italians would sell if they were on the pegs.

After all, they were axis!!!

I visited the KB Outlet in Vero Beach Florida today and got a bunch of the Bob German winter coat soldiers Pvt Hugo Wolff, Cpl. Fritz Schuster, and the camo guy Sgt. Max Rode.. They also had OMG and U.S. Bob figures. They have a least 50 U.S. soldiers left.

Went to the KB in Polaris mall here in Columbus yesterday and found 3 of the Imperial Japenese. They had quite a nice display for the xd set up. I was impressed. On another note one of the new IJ figs was spotted, it was indy with the machine gun. Tankgirl and I scoured all the IJ figs in hopes of finding other figs but nada. I didn't buy the indy fig however because they wanted 7.99 for it. Got my XD instead.

Went to my local KB store and all they had were BOB figs, though they had a lot of them over 60.

KB Toys

I was at a local KB on wed. they had a good selection o BoB figures. I picked 3 more German closed long coat figs....uh wolff think that's his name and 3 more Max Rode. The Rode fig was the most difficult fig to find when they first came out......you can get him online now for $10.00 each but $3.33 at KB is worth a few trips. :P

Any of you have the KB marines at your local KB? So far I've been out of luck here. Send me a PM if you'd be willing to nab me a set.

Lots of BOB and OMG though.

Wish I could find some Japanese... Around here it's all BotB US and Germans, no Japanese or Marines.

Oh and we've got OMG out the whazzoo.

Question...

Post by parrish333 » Wed Sep 17, 2008 12:38 pm

So I finally hit the KB in my AO and was delighted to find a sampling of the figs others have been finding.

I picked up the following fig (largely for the sweet MG on tripod):

Now maybe this has been discussed before, but I just have to know - is a pink jumpsuit really what was worn by some German troops?! A couple of these pinkies came with my 21C Panzer IV as well, but it just makes me laugh - what exactly does pink camo blend in with? Unless those tankers were making a strike against an American Girl store

Some wise sage will likely have some reasonable explanation, but I just can't think of any!

The KB's on the Island still have plenty of XD figures but most are U.S. and a few Japanese. I haven't seen German figures in a month or so.

KB Toys..................

Well that's it...I went to a local KB yesterday and it was just about empty. I picked up the last 6 XD figures (U.S.) for $2.00 each.
Oh they still had plenty of Mutt figures from the Indy line hanging on pegs. :P
